I don't want to be that team either, but its been 12 years. Tomlin's not getting better, so we may already have hired the one who will see us into obscurity.

I would be hesitant to judge a guy based on one experience when that experience was awhile ago. People learn from their mistakes. Wasn't Bellichick fired from the Browns? Although that might not be a great example since he cheats. I guess what I mean is that maybe he got his shot too soon and wasn't ready then, but he may be now.

As to the point of the original post. To think that there is no one out there better than Tomlin...unless you have intense knowledge of every head coach and assistant coach from the pros and college...there is just no way to know if that is true or not.

I am all in on munch, I have said it before in a thread similar to this. I take nothing away from Tomlin he has been successful. However he should have been, first off he took over a super bowl caliber team. He took over a team with not only veteran leadership but also verteran coaching to help him. He had a franchise qb from day one as well as pro bowlers all over the place.

IMO Tonlins time has come to move on. The last 5 years we have been a super bowl pick by many and for many different reasons we haven’t been there.

To ask who is better is a question that has no right answer. It is all just opinion but my opinion is right now munch could coach this game just as good if not better and that is good enough for me. Like I said about Tomlin I will say about munch. He would come in to a team with a veteran qb and leadership as well as many established players. IMO we could only get better not worse with munch over Tomlin.

The clock is ticking on Ben and we only have about a 2-3 year window where this team will be this good. Not only with each year Ben will get a little worse but so will AB and the oline. Add to that guys like juju, Conner and watt to name a few will want more money so we are in a 2-3 win now mode.

People need to stop acting like without Tomlin we will take a step back. This team is loaded with talent. If someone was to replace Tomlin they are taking over a turn key team. Yeah there are problems but it isn’t like we are going to hire a locksmith to be out next head coach we would be hiring a football guy. Jmo.

I'm warming to the idea. Not that it's going to happen, I'm sure we'll lose him eventually.
