So many games, so little time.

Not to mention, I don't know if wifey will look too kindly on my spending $60 a pop in such rapid succession. :roflmao:

I didn't get BF3 for that reason. I know, I know. It's better than MW3 in terms of graphics, etc. I really want to play it. But I'm attached to the MW series (not all CoD. Anything made by Tetrarch I couldn't care less about). I figure if I can only get one shooter, might as well be MW3 if only because I'm a nutcase who actually enjoys games for their single player campaigns. And I want to see where that story is heading.

But then I also have 2 other games coming out within 2 weeks I'm salivating over. Skyrim and Assassin's Creed: Revelations.

I wonder how long my honey do list will get if I try to get all 3. No idea how I'll be able to play all 3 at the same time either. Ugh.

Then again, I could always rent MW3. It should only take 6 hours or so to beat the campaign. I love playing on-line. But with an iffy internet connection, and a 41 y/o's shoddy twitch reflexes, I tend to get my ass kicked by the teenagers. :roflmao: And how will I have time to play on-line when I have those 2 other games?

    Decisions. Decisions....

I don't play a lot of games, but I am into the MW series. You're not alone with the campaign play. I really get into the campaign when I first get the game, hell, I even go back and play the challenges alot. I play(ed) MW2 and Black Ops online quite a bit. Lately though, I usually play Medal of Honor if I have time to play online. I tried playing MW2 online a couple weeks ago and it was hard to adjust back to the gameplay. I haven't seen Skyrim at all. What type of game is that? (I know, lame right?)
:lolol: I hear ya. I'm in my thirties and when my wife asks what I'm doing I often say 'Wastin' some teenage punks' or 'Getting owned by some teenage punks' lol. Nothing personal to you teenage punks out there, I was one once too. :)

Skyrim is an RPG. This trailer was made using the in-game engine. NOT CG.

It's one of those games that can keep someone like me occupied for a long, long time. Red Dead Redemption held my attention for almost 3 months, and that wasn't nearly as expansive as this game will be.

That looks pretty sick. There goes $60 and 60 hours I won't be getting back. :glare:
Have you played any of the Dragon Age games? I've spent many hours engrossed in those. You'd probably like those if you like this.

Honestly, no. And I'm going to make a huge confession as to why not.

I was a slave to an evil master for 4 years. It consumed most, if not all, of my game time, so games like that, while they looked cool, I just thought, "I don't have the time for that." I freed myself finally at the beginning of this year, which allowed me to get caught up on the Assassin's Creed Series (2 and Brotherhood), and Red Dead Redemption. and of course, play some shooters and Madden to death. I debated even then playing DA:O, but somehow never got around to it. Then Skyrim was on the horizon, so I just decided to wait for that.

Oh. That evil slave master? WoW. :eek!: Yes... at heart, I'm a nerd I guess. :roflmao:

Looks like there aren't many gamers here from the lack of responses to this post and to the Uncharted 3 post I made a few days ago.

As far as games go, I'm kind of feeling the same way about too many games, but with different games. I'm currently about to finish Castlevania: Lords of Shadow (which is easily one of the best games I've played in a long time), then I'll be picking up Uncharted 3 later today, and I still haven't played the PS3 release of ICO and Shadow of the Colossus (two of my favorite PS2 games that I'm looking forward to re-playing in HD). In addition to those, my wife and I are going to start the co-op Portal 2 campaign and I have some older titles that I haven't played yet that I traded for on goozex. Oh, and being a long time id software fan, I'd also like to get Rage at some point.

As far as FPS games go, I think Battlefield 3 looks amazing, and I played the multiplayer beta and enjoyed it, but I'm still pretty addicted to Killzone 3 and I can't see myself getting into another multiplayer FPS game right now.

    Evil slave master lol. :lolol:
Thankfully, I never touched the stuff, otherwise (like many) I probably would have woke up two years later only to discover my wife and kids had moved away. :p
