    He was tired and fell forward. It's obvious he did not intent to punch him in the stomach or some nonsense but was attempting to stop his momentum

    If he intended to punch Herbert he's not getting up for a while.

    He was frustrated with the guy pulling on him. I. His exhaustion he fell down catching himself on Herbert rolling him over attempting to stop himself barely touching his abdomen.
