Snow? Already?

Winter Storm advisory for my area with estimations (depending on who you listen to) anywhere from 4 inches to over a foot.

For crying out loud! It's not even November yet!

At least it probably will melt soon enough. But jeez... my snow blower is in the shop. I really don't want to shovel wet, heavy snow. grrr....

 

Re-dang-diculous is what it is. I think it was about 20 years ago or so last time we had a Halloween 'snow storm' around here, unless I'm forgetting one. Snowed here yesterday, not too much, but I was still just standing in front of the window with a nutty expression and an eye twitch.

 

Yep, definitely have that twitch going right now.

Not much is sticking yet. Only a dusting so far. But it's falling like, well, a Nor'easter. Yuck.

 

Eww. None here thankfully. Sounds like you'd better get the shovel ready and start doing some back stretches.

 

Yep, now I have about 2 inches on the driveway. About 4 inches on the truck. Thankfully, the ground is still warm so it's melting a lot of it. Either way, I'll be shoveling today. :banghead:

10 inches total accumulation after everything that melted. Doozy of a snow storm for October. Took a lot of trees and limbs down. Just got my power back last night, and my cable/internet tonight.

Almost all of it is melted as of this afternoon.

Ok, I've had my snow. It can stop for the rest of the winter.
