Does the Ravens include the Browns??? LoL. Although that's pretty good for the Ravens being they haven't been around very long.....even though it burns my tongue saying it.

No Browns have won it since ‘71. The 4 Ravens were all ‘Ravens’: Ray Lewis - twice, Ed Reed and Terell Suggs.

Draw the line at 2000, and it’s Ravens 4, Steelers, JjWatt and Aaron Donald tied at 3

I remember one year a while back Philadelphia was pretty much anointed the super-bowl before the season started and I’m not sure they even had a winning season

The dream team?...They finish at 8-8 in 2011(they were 4-8 at one point) and the year after the eagles were 4-12 and it was over for Andy Reid in Philadelphia

While I have no doubt Andy Reid will be cart wheeling into Canton someday... he will not live that 2011 Eagles Season down. Still love "Big Red" but that season was arguably the most accurate form of "Looney Toons" as one is ever going to get in an NFL Team from an arrogance perspective.

Not Andy Reid proclaimed best coach in the league by many on this board...can't be the same guy.....had a dream team , and didn't win.., and the next year they were even worse...no way ....no how. LoL....as I've said P. Mahomes has a big say in how good they are.

This stat is almost unfair considering that we had Joe Greene, the 2 time winner. I still consider him the single best defensive lineman to play the game. Not a single weakness in his game; run and pass defense, strength and quickness, and the nastiest Dlineman of his time.

    Regarding Mahomes... naturally.

Granted though, while Mahomes has been nothing short of great, remember what his weapons were when he started out; Tyreek Hill, Mecole Hardman, Travis Kelce, LeSean McCoy (what remained of him), Damien Williams and Sammy Watkins (again, what remained of him). Mahomes ended up being.. well Mahomes but Reid still played a major part in drafting/acquiring those aforementioned guys before Mahomes got there (Kelce and Hill) and since Mahomes has been there up until 2019 (Hardman, McCoy and Watkins). Now, Mahomes has clearly played longer than that and, much oft the weapons added since he came was to not just add to the Offense but max out his abilities. Part of that is Patrick's literal Sui Generis talent at Quarterback...

... However, the other half does befall on Andy Reid. Remember that Coaching can make the difference for any player; no matter the talent level. Better yet, me and you both just bore witness to this in 2021; Urban Meyer being paired up with Trevor Lawrence. Fast forward with Doug Pederson and look how Lawrence is now?!

Overall, there are definitely examples though that support your claim that a QB can make their Head Coach currently. Justin Herbert, as far as I am concerned, is firmly in the drivers seat for the statement you made about Mahomes making Reid as I have not the foggiest on how Brandon Staley continually creates tremendous choke after tremendous choke. Aaron Rodgers clearly made Mike McCarthy into a household name. Matt LeFleur is not out of the woods either in my book; much of his play calling worked thanks in large part to Aaron. Sean McDermont and Zac Taylor both will have either very warm or hot seats if an AFC Championship Game appearance does not happen. Hell... lest I forget... see how Bill Belichick is without Tom Brady!!

However, while these are examples I have provided... these are considered exceptions to the rule. While Jared Goff was Sean McVay's Number One Overall Pick, it was clear to McVay that Goff was maxed out in terms of what McVay could get out of him. Fast forward to a QB in Matt Stafford and McVay hoists the Lombardi. Did Stafford have tremendous talent?! Absolutely... we just almost never saw as much due to Detriot being Detroit. Pair Stafford up with a Head Coach like McVay and great things can happen. How about Geno Smith's Career Revival?! Extreme example... of course. However, given how Pete Carroll had that much faith in Geno to have him not only start but redeem himself is nothing short of incredible. Biggest one thus far though has been Mike McDaniel with Tua. Tua's relationship with Brian Flores was a disaster. With Mike McDaniel... complete 180. His health clearly is of another matter but when healthy, Tua benefits from Mike more than Mike benefits from Tua. Even in Minnesota, Kirk Cousins played his best season overall thanks to a Rookie Head Coach in Kevin O Connell. Mike Tomlin might be the best overall example of this as his 2019 Season should have been the season he posted his first losing record with Mason Rudolph and Duck Hodges.

    In short?

Andy Reid was a great Head Coach long before Mahomes; having been to a Super Bowl with Donovan McNabb. While he didn't win that day.... just getting to one is bonkers difficult; winning one doubly so. For that matter, the Chiefs were revived back into NFL Relevancy when Reid ended up maxing out Alex Smith; a failed Number One overall pick. Two things can be true about Andy Reid today.

1.) Without Mahomes, he does not have two Super Bowls. With him, Reid is another stratosphere.

2.) Without Mahomes, he still has shown he is great at Coaching. Taking two Franchises and bringing them back to prominence is definitely note worthy.

Give Big Red his due. He will be cart wheeling to Canton thanks to Patrick Mahomes but in the NFL, it truly does take Two To Tango.

And since 1881 the Pirates have had a grand total of 1 ROY.

The is why the Steelers will never capture the heart of Pittsburgh like the Pirates;) Also don't have sweat out those .500 or better seasons:)

    JK.

The Steelers really have had some bad ass mofo's on D! Wouldn't mind #9 this year.

One of my favorite NFL seasons. (non-Steelers) I live among their faithful and it was so enjoyable listening to them ***** and moan.

Jason Bay in 2004 was the only Pirate ROY, the same year that Ben won the NFL award.

With all that said.....He (Andy Reid) had a Dream team, and went 8-8(Tomlin does it with backups ,and get grief), and the next year Andy Reid went 4-12.
    No SB wins without Mahomes.

    That is true.

That 2011 season is definitely Andy's Greatest failure as a Head Coach. However, his successes since then far outweigh that lone bad season.

I would say Reid is the best coach right now, going to three Super Bowls in the last five years and winning two of them, he has Mahomes but it's Reid's offense and he developed him.

Steelers got an epic beatdown by the Chiefs and Mahomes at Heinz Field in week 2 of 2018. It was painful to watch. The defense was totally abused in that game. The Mahomes beatdown was just as bad as the Brady/Gronk beatdowns in 2010 and 2013.

Again.....I'm not saying He's not good, but I'm not forgetting He had no SB wins before Mahomes, and was owned by Tomlin before Mahomes. Having the best Qb right now in the league helps big time.
We are not talking top 3, or top 5 Qb......We are talking the best Qb.
We seen what He didn't do for like 17 years as a head coach without Mahomes. Everyone else may have forgotten, but I haven't, and I haven't forgotten that before Mahomes people in the MEDIA were saying Tomlin must know something about Reid because He was always beating Him.

Andy Reid has won over 60% of the time without Mahomes in his career in almost 20 seasons and he had been in 5 NFC title game with the eagles. The only thing he hadn't had without Mahomes, it was a super bowl....His resume without Mahomes is still much better than Belichick without Brady
