Can anyone remember the shortage of quality OL that the NFL is experiencing this year?
I am sure that not only the Steelers are looking for OL, Dallas, TB come to mind also.

 

Dallas just signed Jason Peters the former Eagle to the practice squad. He is 40. And a left tackle. Eventual HOFer.

We have issues at left tackle. Dan Moore best right the ship. Trent Scott doesn't move the needle.

And by any means necessary you keep Kendrick Green on the sidelines.

 

I am sure the Steelers scouting department was looking when cut downs were made, apparently
they thought who they had were just as good at what was out there???? I guess will have to go with who they picked.
I have a feeling they will keep watching practice squad players waiver wire.

 

They can have anyone they want from another practice squad if they put them on the 53. If they aren’t putting them on the 53 they aren’t better than what we have.

 

I’m sure they know the level of talent available and came to the conclusion that it’s not better than what they currently have. We were all pimping Quincy Roache, but he remains unsigned by all 32 teams.

I knew Jerry Jones would go there. Peters played TE for the Razorbacks, and being Jerry is a Razorbacks alumni....I knew it was just a matter of time. Easy 150.

 

There has been a lot of people calling for the Steelers to sign Phillip Lindsey but he is gone now to the Colts practice squad.

 

Jason Peters can play LT better than Dan Moore whether he is 40, 60 or 80 years old.

 

If You can keep Him healthy. I think He has only played 16 games once in the last 5 years. I could be wrong.

 

Yeah 10 years ago, Peters seems to get injured every season.
