What's the portion of you lunatic theory that explains why none of the 5 retired 49ers players came forward and spoke publicly about it?

Best evidence that you hardly watch any football outside Steelers games....

What benefit would they get from messing with the NFL, billion dollar organization? Nothing but headaches. Take your millions and try to enjoy the rest of life. NFL still using Lynch for promotion. They know he doesn't care and will say whatever he wants and has a huge following. Still pay him a bit and keep him happy.

I watch a lot of football. Probably more than you.

Yeah the league only became a capitalist entity under Roger. Roselle and Tagliabue were total marxists that actually gave all the money to the FANS and PLAYERS and made the owners live as total serfs. Yeah. Right.

If your self-esteem is based upon the Steelers, as it clearly is, then you're better off leaving football alone and going off to find some real meaning to life outside of sports. Believe me, for years and years I lived off the vicissitudes of various sports teams. It's an insane way to live your life, if you're genuinely upset that a sports team loses a game even one of the magnitude of the AFC title game then you're setting yourself up for a miserable life until you wake up. You can't exist on bile or on the fleeting schadenfraude you feel when the Ravens lose a game either.

The only way to truly enjoy sports is to support your teams and relish the successes and accept and move on quickly from disappointments. There's room for some comment and critique of your teams shortcomings, I've have criticised the team in the past and will continue to so occasionally. But, you've got to be careful you don't end up going round in ever decreasing circles.

We lost, our team was not good enough, but let's be real here, look at the team we lost to, they went on to win the SB with a comeback the like of which has never been seen before. It's just a sad fact that we've had a very good team with a elite QB, and an elite defense for many years, that in most eras WOULD have been THE dynasty of our age were it not for a team that is just a little bit better. That's a fact.

If we go back to year zero of Brady and Bellichick, how many other teams have won more than 1 SB since? Just one, the NYG. In all that time, Dallas and SF haven't won any at all, the Packers just one. You alluded to 'most SB wins' in your post, but I don't think you've stopped to actually look at what's happened to that list in the BB/TB era.
