Should We Be Concerned About DWiLL's Foot?

Fine considering the circumstances ? What are those circumstances from a RB'S perspective ??? OK they want to stop the run. Did we decide we can't run ???? OK they want to make Jones beat us ...Did we decide that Jones can't lead us????


The moral to that story was that our running game is only so good without Bell. Jones is only a shell of what Big Ben is ....Those 2 things work together and when dealing with circumstances that are not Ideal then you must do it the best that you can ...

Again a guy who is clearly hurt or a guy who is Healthy ???? In my book that is not Fear it is Obviously going with the Best next man up situation that you have. That is Situational Football at it's best.....

 

Where are you getting this info that he was clearly hurt? The coaches felt like DWil gave us the best chance to succeed. They are the ones that see these guys daily in practice and the ones who know how much of a factor a players injury will be. They are the only ones qualified to make those decisions.

I understand that this is a message board and people are going to have opinions on how they would approach certain situations and that's fine, but at the end of the day unless someone here is an NFL level coach then that's all it is, just an opinion.

 

My eyes....................His warm ups............................His running...........And his overall lack of performance..............= He was clearly hurt...........

 

The same eyes that evaluated DHB? You know the guy who hasn't had a catch in five weeks?

 

And yet when he was targeted he was the #2 WR on the Team...So yes the same eyes that saw DHB as a threat and he is ....... He can and did take the top off just like I said he could....

Yeah that guy! Did I say he'd get cut or that I hoped he'd get cut? I was wrong about DHB, he does offer some value to the team, just not anywhere near the value PWP has placed on him.

 

Notice since Bryant's back DHB hasn't had a catch yet Wheaton has had at least one catch in every game this year.

 

Of course he has..He is a high draft pick thus he is a higher investment . That Investment is exactly why he gets the targets that he does..Make no mistake about it in no way does that mean Wheaton is a better stretch the field guy than DHB...

If you think that then you got it twisted.....

 

I'm not saying Wheaton can stretch the field better, just saying he's at least consistent.
And correct me if I'm wrong, but DHB was a first round pick and Wheaton was a third? There goes that logic!

 

I only judge on Steeler career all else is irrelevant as it is written in the good book...The passage goes.. No Player is really a true Football player until they rep the Black and Gold ....Black and Gold are the works in which ye shall be judged...

Also there's a new DHB thread that will soon detail how DHB is the centerpiece to all our success. If I read the post right we'll all have to argue and debate for a while and eat popcorn then it will be reveled how DHB is the main cog in our offense. I think proof the aliens built the pyramids will also be reveled too.
