He was released by Jacksonville. I wonder if the team saw enough to warrant bringing him back
He said he learned a lot in his short time in Pittsburgh and personally thanked Tomlin for the opportunity so I'm sure he'd like to come back. Not sure if the team does or not but it would be the lesser of two evils if they did.
If he can help bring him in.
Sign Him Sign Everyone
Since he was just on the team several weeks ago. I’m sure it’s a possibility.
Well we know nobody retreads like the Pittsburgh Steelers!
First time through, I didn't read it as "retread". Uh oh potato
Retreads aren't always a bad thing.
William Gay and James Harrison were retreads.
Wow! , but they had to have him up on the active roster, didn't they? Has it been 3 weeks yet? What a dumpster fire!
LoL. I only laughed, because I didn't either.
I think that only applies if they snatched him off the Steelers practice squad. I thought he was cut in some corresponding roster moves like taking Banner off IR and signing Taco
correct. We tried to move him to the practice squad and the jags grabbed him. We could resign him to the practice squad.
If the Jaguars couldn't use him then he must be really bad.
Maybe....this is just guessing, but Maybe He fits better what we do????
Maybe they thought he was more ready than he is at this point and needed the roster spot for another position?
Or maybe he sucks
The problem is that the Jaguars are really bad.
They make enough bad decisions, it is tough to judge if something they do is the right choice.
They probably released him because he isn't quite healthy with the ankle issue. Oft- injured as is reported. Really don't know much about him except he was with Da Bears for a few, us and the jags. What have any of you seen to want him back?
we still have malcom pridgeon on the PS and he played pretty well in preseason. we also have finney that is probably better at guard anyway, so i don't think coward would be a have to bring back at this point.
