Should the tush push be banned?

Half ban. Allow ther rugby lineup by o line and just ban the help of other assisting the runner. Fair

 

I never liked the play and I hate the name of it even more. I guess a$$ smash was too derogatory for them?

 

This reminds me of my brilliant NHL net minder theory. I once saw a 6’4” 1200 lb guy on Jerry springer where Jerry had to actually enter this guys house cause he couldn’t get out of bed. Upon entering, the fat blob had a giant tub of KFC that he was slobbing on. If I were the Pens I would send a dump truck to pick that guy up and sit him in front of the goal. Probably have 82 shutouts and 16 more and win MVP. Wouldn’t let him near the Stanley cup though cause he might eat it.

 

This. Why would you want to ban something that works exceedingly well on offense? Teams should be trying to copy it more often. Just because a team doesn't have the players or QB to do it doesn't mean it's a bad play. And there have been no recorded injuries coming from the play.

 

Well in that case they may as well ban the fullback

I don't like the tush push, I think it a boring play, but......... just because I don't like it doesn't mean it should be banned.
I especially don't like the idea of banning something just because someone is good at it, and others have trouble stopping it. Sounds like weak sauce in my ears.
This is not using Bo Jackson in Temco Bowl, which was a manufacturer cheat, but an actual play that people have trouble stopping.

 

Ban it, and remove the Qb slide rule and protection rule also.
