Heath Miller is the absolute "model" Steeler for me. I mean when I think of what a "Steeler" should be I think about Heath. He sorta represents a by-gone era to me. Guys that have great passion for the game but aren't all rah-rah and stuff like that. One of my all time favorite things from Heath was when Bell got hurt last year and he made that cameraman get away from him. That was awesome. THEN to make it even more cool he turns back around one last time almost like a grizzly giving one last warning. That was so awesome dude. You remember what I'm talking about?

Honestly, I wouldn't be surprised if Heath didn't appreciate MOST NFL players off the field behavior. Although I always felt like when Hines did that interview with Costas then that he was taken out of context and never meant to call out Ben. I just took it that he was saying that people didn't realize Ben had a concussion and when they did realize he was concussed they understood why he wasn't playing. Maybe I was wrong about that though. I just thought that comment was sorta much ado about nothing. I DON'T think Ben is a great leader but I DO think he is incredibly tough though. I think Hines took offense to the fact that Ben mentioned that it would be nice to have a tall WR. I don't think Ben meant that as a slight to Hines. Just that he would like to have a big target like Brady did at the time. There was an actual context to the comment.

One reason, among many, that I LOVE that guy!!!!!

 

I get intimidated watching it MYSELF! LOL!

 

If I could pick any Steeler on this roster to meet and hang out with it would be Heath by a mile. You probably feel the same. DaBeard would probably be second.

Me too, BFT. Heath grew up about 25 minutes from where I'm sitting and his parents still live there. I've been by his house many times. I think next time he's in visiting his parents I may just stop by and hang out with him for awhile.
