When you can't argue the message, shoot the messenger.
I mean I can agree with some, it does get gloomy in here but it’s not just this season it has been building up since the Jax debacle. If I wasn’t passionate or care I wouldn’t post. I love the damn Steelers and hate seeing them go down this way.
Exactly, which is why I resent the "troll" accusation. Trolls are people who don't care that just want to stir the pot.
When you only have a hammer in your toolbox, everything looks like a nail.
Personally, I have 3 different size hammers for different size nails. Oh yeah, and wd40 and roll of duct tape.
Well in your case that’s definitely the best way to handle it.
Do you know what’s worse? When you do care and you just want to stir the pot.
Personally I'm still aggrieved that the unicorn painting sub-forum never worked out. Damn you, TTF.
Yes, it is. There was an earlier thread that asked when did you know when the (Chargers) game was lost? We may be approaching somewhere is the vicinity of some peoples answer to the same question regarding the season i.e., asking when did you know we weren't going to be in the playoffs, or , not have a winning season, or do, not do something? My glass, which I prefer to be full of my favorite draft, is neither half full or empty at this point. I think we can still go either way but the Chargers game was one I though could start a trend in either direction. If we can't win this Sunday, my glass will be leaking, and wasted beer is a mortal sin. So, let's just win this Sunday.
Well said. Getting swept by the Bengals would be a bad harbinger, hasn't happened since 2009.
We can always draft another center and move him to Guard.
Trai Turner won't be around much longer than this year.
Inability to anchor vs. the bull rush would be a problem at guard, too, wouldn't it?
I'm banking on the fact that he does improve somewhat, plus at guard he can pull more often and use that speed to his advantage.
Plus Turner is not great.
Maybe not having to expend the extra brainpower and effort on snapping the ball will give him an extra 1/2 second to get moving forward and get better leverage?
He needs to visit the weight room in the offseason often.
This will help him progress in the NFL
