This is my last attempt... Let me know what you all think.

    1. Darqueze Dennard (CB) Michigan State - IMO he is the best corner in the draft, and the most NFL ready. He is going to be tough to pass up if he is available at 15.

    2. Donte Moncrief (WR) Ole Miss - High upside for this kid. He can fly and runs pretty good routes (and is 6'2'' for all of you who think that a WR has to be tall to be good). He can be inconsistent at times, but I really think he has the potential to be a big play machine in the NFL.

    3. Lache Seastrunk (RB) Baylor - Solid all around RB with some speed. Has comparable skills to Bell, and would be a good fit to fill in for a series or two a game to keep Le'veon's odometer down.

    4. Josh Mauro (DE) Stanford - Great scheme fit for our 34 defense. His skill set has been compared to Kiesel's, and I'd take another Brett Kiesel in a heartbeat.

5a. Phillip Gaines (CB) Rice - Intriguing prospect. With him Dennard and C. Allen, the CB position would look pretty solid for the future.

5b. Morgan Breslin (OLB) USC - Breslin is a pass rush specialist who isn't exactly known for being stout against the run. He could be a situational pass rusher immediately for us, and could eventually develop into a starting quality player once he learns to play the run better.

    6. Justin Britt (OT) Missouri - Solid player. Would be a good pick to help push Adams and Gilbert to get their s**t together. Would initially start off on the practice squad, but could turn into a good back up at both LT and RT.

7a. Colt Lyerla (TE) Oregon - If he is available here, there is absolutely NO reason to pass him up. It isn't everyday that first round talent becomes attainable in the 7th round. Low risk situation... draft him, keep him in line, and you have a very good player. If he screws up, cut him. No harm, no foul.

7b. Shaquil Barrett (OLB) - I guess this just seems natural with Peezy here now. More OLB depth is a welcome sight.

    Have at it.

I like it. I'm not a fan of Colt and really don't want him here. I also think Barrett may go a little earlier. Same goes for Josh Mauro. If he's there in the 3rd we should jump on him.

I will swap out the best TE available in the 3rd pick. All other positions/picks look good and
    appropriate.

I would be ok with this draft, with some caveats.
    1) Really want Dennard or Gilbert in the first. Would also love some players who are even less likely to be there at 15 (Evans, Lewan).
    2) Moncrief is far down my list of receivers that I would want in the second. Someone who falls (Beckham, Benjamin, etc) or Robinson or Matthews, or one of the top 3 tight ends makes more sense to me.
3 comp) First, signing Blount makes RB less of a priority. Second, I firmly believe that Seastrunk will be there at 4. Go with the DE here, instead. Jackson Jeffcoat.
    4) Take Seastrunk here. My favorite RB for the Steelers, otherwise I would make RB a 6th rounder.
    5) Great place to be taking a second CB. If we go TE in second, maybe look at Brandon Coleman if he falls.
5 comp) and the rest work very well for me, although I would be leary of Lyerela.

    1) I would be cool with Evans, not as much with Lewan. If either of the CB's are there I'd draft them before either Evans or Lewan anyways. I like Dennard better, but either one would be a home run for us.
    2) I love Matthews and Robinson, but I chose Moncrief because he will be more of a playmaker at the next level instead of just a possession guy (not that being a good possession receiver is a bad thing). I don't like either Amaro or ASJ for us, so I like WR here.
    3) I don't see Blount as a long term solution as a back up, so I doubt it makes RB too much less of a priority. We have no one else on the roster haha Plus I would like to see us have a backup with more of an all around game. I'd love to take Seastrunk in 4 like you said and take the DE in 3. Makes sense to me.
    6) yeah, I screwed up and gave us two 7ths instead of 2 6ths lol s**t happens. Put Barrett in the 6th compensatory pick instead of round 7.

The only reason I like Lyerla is because he is first round talent that will be cheap to draft. I know we usually dont go after guys that have baggage, but the return on such a low investment could be huge. I would never advocate to take a guy like this early since a first or second round pick is such a big investment in someone... but in round 7 it makes a lot of sense since a 7th rounder probably wont make the roster anyways. I dont think the Steelers will take him, but I'd really like to see them take a chance on him.
