I like others really wanted a CB in the 1st round . I guess we really need to trust the organization such as we have in the past. It's not like they don't know how to bring championships home :)

It would seem to me they were gunning for Fuller and when Chicago took him they went with the BPA .

For whatever reason we simply don't believe in drafting CB's high.

We aren't alone. Only 9 CBs taken in the first 3 rounds. For being such an "important" position, doesn't look like many teams are too concerned.

Because picking a corner that high in our zone defense is a waste. The Steelers defense has always been about pressure forcing a qb to throw into a zone quickly sometimes without even seeing a db sitting there waiting.

Our defense starts up front, always has. Getting pressure on the QB is the best defense and guys like Shazier can defend against the quick underneath stuff.

If Fuller hadn't been taken, perhaps they would have grabbed him, he is a zone guy, Dennard not so much. They took the right player.

The next wave of CB's to grab, starts today.
