I really dont think Moats takes out Harrison....I think he takes out Sylvester. I don't know if Harrison is or is not still in play....but these two are apples and oranges IMO

I would tend to agree but they did refer to Moats as back up OLB depth. I would think he's a better fit inside. Who knows? There is so many smoke screens around this time of year, between players, coaches ,gm's and agents it's impossible to separate fact from fiction. They could be downplaying or overstating their interest in players for many reasons.

That's exactly why he seems like he'll replace Sylvester, or take on some kind of Sylvester type role. No real experience in a system like ours (that I know of), and he has potential to fit in any number of spots. Special teams guy, depth guy. Sounds like Sylvester to me. Harrison is more in the "Can rotate or start and produce at ROLB if necessary" boat. Jones and Worilds both have injury histories. There's a good chance our #3 will have to start at some point, possibly for awhile. That's where I think Harrison and Moats separate. I trust James to step in and get it done based on his performance last year out of system, and his performance two years ago in this system, and his current health, and his motor/desire. Plus I like what he brings to the locker room.

Agree on all counts - IF he's now healthy.

I guess maybe you missed my point. I agree he could and should bump Sylvester but that's at ILB where Sylvester is listed as. My point was they are calling Moats a fit for us at OLB that I don't see. I am a huge Harrison fan believe me. Nobody wants him back more than me

Maybe they were desperate for OLB depth I think Moats is the top backup right now, and Carter also if he sticks around. I don't see them signing Harrison real late if at all. What they should do is draft 2 OLB's then they can get to start developing in their system.
