Scouting for positional draft talent

    I was listening to some different programs today and the topic was the Steelers success of drafting WR's. Brian Billick said when he was with the Ravens they were envious and admitted they were lousy at drafting WR.

    My Question, why would a team who is so bad at scouting (and drafting) a certain position, not target scouts from other teams (who are successful in those areas) and bring them on board? Make an offer they can't refuse, lol. Seriously the Steelers have absolutely sucked at drafting CB's. Was Ike Taylor the last decent guy they drafted? If there is a weakness in the scouting link, would you not try and correct that?

    maybe Teryl Austin will help. Was he in Cincy when they drafted WJIII?
