You must be referring to early Ben. After Haley took over as OC, Ben had one of the faster releases in the NFL.

Yea pretty much. Todd Haley was the best thing that ever happened to Ben coaching wise but both of their egos got in the way and therefore the relationship didn’t amount to much success. I went to middle school and high school with Todd Haley and I can tell you how he was back then. I’m sure he didn’t change much over the years.

Schlereth is a another Wilson hater. A former Bronco...of course he's gonna bash Steelers and Wilson. Broncos are getting abused by the Wilson deal...Steelers are benefiting.

It didn't help that Haley told Ben to STFU on the sideline.

LOL. That’s exactly how he acted to a bunch of us in HS. He had very select friends. All in all he was a creative OC but his ego was too big for his true abilities. Believe it or not his best friend in middle school was a bigger Ahole.

The scheme and system of Todd Haley was very good....But his playcalling was below average

Especially that play call on 4th and short against Jacksonville in the playoffs, let's run wide against a fast defense .

People miss out on this very important aspect of the game, a good play caller can
Make up for below par players.
