    If he's right, then he's a genius.

If he's wrong, then "Tomlin is a great coach who finds ways to win" Or, Tomlin "was the right coach for these QBs"

    same story, different day.

    If he's right he's a genius.
If he's wrong, he pretends he never said it, and goes on to make his next obnoxious prediction.
Sports commentary is never having to say your sorry.

Bailing is a part of their game. That can be a good thing even with a clean pocket.

The standard is so low at this point for the Steelers that every year, before the season starts, the question for the Steelers is not whether they will be able to compete for the Super Bowl or even win the AFC North, the question is if Tomlin will avoid a losing season, but that's life, that's the standard now... Hoping to avoid a losing season, hoping that it's enough to make the playoffs and then, hoping for a miracle in the wild card round, but the last part, it never happens, not in the last few years at least

I can't wait to see the standard change

Haley did some good thing with Ben,his scheme was good but the thing I hated the most was a throw short for a first down in 3rd down...I understand if you're in the field goal range, this is better completion short for a first down than a sack, but for the rest, I prefer a sack than a checkdown for nothing in 3rd down since at least when you take a sack in 3rd down because you held the ball too long, at least you tried to have a first down! Our offense would have been better with Arians in the killer B's era without a doubt if of course he wasn't handcuffed by Tomlin, especially on the road...Our o-line was also much better in the killer B's era

The playcalling was also very frustrating at times, the majority of our points on offense during this era were at the end of the 2nd quarter and in the 4th quarter when the Steelers were more in hurry up mode, when Ben had more power in the play calling in the 2 minutes situation...The scheme of Haley was very good but his play calling was below average

And when has the Steelers stated that their goal is for Tomlin to avoid a losing season? You should probably stop making stuff up, they signed Russell Wilson because he's a vet QB who gives them a chance to win in the playoffs.

Actions speak for themselves, like keeping Canada after 2022 despite 2 pathetic seasons on offense, the only team in the NFL that would have done that

But I am still happy with our offseason, as for the QB position, good draft but I have not yet digested having kept Canada for 10 more games even if everyone on earth knew he was not caliber of the NFL!...It was another wasted season, thank god they didn't do the same thing at the QB position for 2024, so maybe they learned from their mistake?

This…. This is so true. I remember the days of how far we will go in playoffs, now, unfortunately it is all about just trying to have a 500 or winning record.
    Lower expectations for sure.

Not the Steelers. Its the media and fans, no confidence in post season in the last decade whatsoever. You can argue all you want, its true dude.

You do realize the last time we went 8-8 was the year Ben got hurt at the beginning of the season.
    That was 2019 season. We have played 4 season since then ....12-4 , 9-8, 9-7-1, 10-6. So....

10-7....The Steelers also needed help in the final week in 2021 and 2023 to make the playoffs...And a new playoffs format that now almost half the league makes the playoffs
