Shannon Sharpe and Skip Bayless also had a really good take. Granted, I do think the majority of their content is solid but their takes on the whole AB Fiasco is one of their show's best. Greg Jennings is also in on that too.

Give it a shot if you have not already my man!! You will enjoy it. I know it.

Makes me want Tomlin gone that much more. He ruined the Steelers culture and it takes new leadership to turn it around

I can recall newly hired head coach, mike Tomlin, being asked ... who are the leaders on the team.? Answer, you don't necessarily need a lead voice from the players. He stated ... that he believes the coach sets the tone of the team ... wow

He is also quoted before as saying when it comes to communication on D. There has to be big guys doing the communicating because big guys don't listen to little guys. I'm so glad Albert Einstein isn't in charge of communication . No one would listen....too damn small :hehehe:

Yeah, it's disappointing that they are going to give MT another year to fix it. They need a new voice and should move on from Tomlin.

Someone else is needed to fix this mess.

Well to be quite honest MT has some character/ integrity issue, that should have never happened nor ever come from the leader of men. 1. The suppose tripping incident involving Jacoby Jones 2. The going off about the Pats in the locker room leading up to a match up with them in the coming weeks, that Brown sent out on social media. 3. The handling of the Harrison situation 4. The handling of the Bell situation 5. Brown situation its all been snow balling to where we are now. Inept season and missing the playoffs, losing to subpar teams continues with no answer in sight. WHO ARE THE PITTSBURGH STEELERS any more????

Great stuff, always had respect for Mark Schlereth both as a player and analyst. Greg Jennings does a fine job as well. The whole panel nailed the situation with this team.

And yes, I do believe now that Ben Roethlisberger IS part of the problem. I defended him calling out JW, and I don't think it would have been a big deal if it hadn't been for some of the other stuff he's done and said. It's indicative of the cancerous culture that currently resides in that locker room. He is supposed to be a player that everyone can look up to. If this culture is going to change, he is going to have to change as well.

All of that aside, this all starts with Tomlin. Some players will try and stretch the boundaries no matter who else plays by the team rules. It's up to the head coach to police it. Tomlin feels that this responsibility is the sole realm of the players themselves, it's their duty to police the locker room. Wrong. The coach should have a pulse on every aspect of his team. Therefore, he needs to praise and scorn, reward and punish as the need arises. Tomlin let's the inmates run the asylum, so now they are a joke.

I think he needs to go, but we all know that's not going to happen. He will get a chance to make things right and frankly, I have lost faith in his ability to do what needs to be done. The job as a head coach in the NFL is an incredibly complex, labor intensive affair that requires intelligence, commitment, organization, toughness and likely about 10 other adjectives that can be applied. Mike Tomlin is a good football coach but, I don't think he is capable of cleaning up the mess he created.
