He's a mediocre WR who doesn't play nearly as quick or fast as he times.

I'm not a betting man ... but no, his numbers won't dwarf Decker's. In fact Decker will have a better season than Sanders will. Sanders is what he is. Anyone still waiting for him to blossom is kidding himself.

I'm just saying the offense was clicking early until he went down. They couldn't handle all three and the running game.

Agree, apparently every guy that leaves is a never-was who's going to stink it up somewhere else...sheesh.

Even as a rookie, his injury in that game could have made the difference. Then again, I just watched the game, whereas YOU have his stats for the year. I take it back.

Are you being sarcastic about Nate Washington? I seriously don't get this.

Who mentioned his times? He's quick and fast. He has his weak points but he has his strong points. You don't think he looks quick out on the field? Wait, before you answer, how many catches did he have in 2010?

Funny to me how an ex Steeler gets so much play. I personally could care less where he went, what he does or for that matter what any player who leaves the Black and Gold does when they leave. These players are not helping the cause, that's the Pittsburgh Steelers. Maybe an Ex Steelers talk forum should be created. OH no, there I go again not showing my sensitive side...

I don't know about everyone who leaves, but Sanders sure as heck is a never was. The stats are there to examine.

The Packers had forced 2 punts and a pick 6 while shutting us out when Sanders got hurt.

I officially don't know how to answer that. From your other answers it sounds like you form your opinions on numbers and ignore the field, but then you say he's not quick or fast, despite his times. So, I don't know what I'm basing it on. Can't use his times, can't use the eyeball... I guess I heard it from a friend and that's how I know?

Did you watch Geno Smith play last year? He has serious issues with anticipation and has a tendency to wait for daylight before throwing the ball to his receiver. Daylight is a rare commodity in the NFL and quite frankly Decker doesn't create a lot of it. The difference is that Peyton knows how to anticipate the route and throw the receiver open. Decker benefitted from that last year but no such luxury this time around. Mark it down, Sanders has a better statistical season not because he's a better receiver than Decker, but because he's got a superior quarterback throwing him the football.

Deckers numbers are going to drop a lot, can't believe anyone thinks he will duplicate what he did last season. He'll be facing double teams and wont have Peyton throwing him the ball, ouch.

    Sorry, Mac, missed this post.

I always think we will! But yeah, I believe in the Steeler way more then going out and making a bunch of splash signings. Proof is in the pudding,
