I think Ben tried doing the Ray Lewis "I'm done after this season" hoping it would stir up the championship run. I don't think this team can pull that off.

So on CBS they were trying to spin it that Ben said last season ... with the Steelers, that he may go play somewhere else?

I just can't see him wanting to do that? I think he will just retire.

I basically agree. But I do think there is a difference between this coming off season and last yr.

Last yr, after 11-0 and 12-4 and not wanting to end his career with the horrible Cleve playoff lose, If Ben felt he was being pushed out by the Steelers, he’d have been pissed and would have tried to prove a point elsewhere.

This yr, I think even Ben can see that upside is limited. It’s been a struggle to stay at .500, the OL is raw, the OC wants to do things differently, the old gang is gone and it ain’t as much fun. He’s not afraid of being pushed out, he’s ready to leave,
