Our non division opponents are much easier playing the NFC south division and the AFC east makes the playoffs a real possibility if Mitch is average. add Philly and colts and we can be at least a wildcard playoff team again

Your right. All the teams we play are playoff teams. Last years schedule was brutal

Easier + Pittsburgh Steeler football doesn't compute.

Based on last year, teams can improve vastly, or dissolve as fast. Though travel fatigue should not be an issue, I think the longest flight is around 2 hours.

With all the moves that were made I do feel the team got better especially if Chuks improves. With an easier schedule this might turn out to be a playoff team that actually wins a few hopefully.

The remaining mystery is Tuitt, strong safety and 3rd receiver. And Devin Bush. Will the head case turn it around?

I don't want to hear well I think Tuitt's coming back, or I expect him back, or Art II saying we will leave the door open crap. They need to know before the draft with a hard deadline.

If Jordan Davis is there at # 20 you can't pass him up. Alualu will give us one more year. Also liked bringing Adams back.

I'm afraid if they bring Tuitt back that after a week of training camp he is sitting out with some type of undisclosed injury. Then as the season goes on he never does suit up and disappears for the year again. Yes if Jordan Davis is there at #20 draft him. Tuitt is too much of an unreliable wildcard.

Considering that we play down to our competition, having an easier schedule wouldn't seem to be a good thing

The Bengals get to play the toughest schedule in the division , I'm glad the Steelers don't have to play the AFC West this season.

We all play the same NFC division but we get the Eagles as our added game. I think if we missed the Playoffs last year we would have got Washington. Not sure who the other 3 teams in our division get but I hope all 3 have to play a tough opponent because you know we are losing in Philly. (a game I'll be going to)

We all play the AFC East and NFC South. The extra game from the NFC East has the Bengals playing the Cowboys, the Browns play Washington and the Ravens play the Giants. In the AFC West the Steelers play the Raiders, the Bengals play the Chiefs, the Browns play the Chargers and the Ravens play the Broncos. In the AFC South the Steelers play the Colts, the Bengals play the Titans, the Browns play the Texans and the Ravens play the Jags.

raiders and colts won’t be gimmies. Honestly should be able to beat the whole nfc south except for the bucs. AFC east wont be easy except the jets.

The Steelers have built themselves a solid team this off season and still have the draft coming up. If they were in the NFC they would be at least a #5 seed. However in the AFC there are around 12 teams that range from solid to very good and 5 of them won't make the playoffs.

Yes the nfc is much weaker. Problem with steelers put of those teans in the afc is they by far have the worst player at the most important position.

This afc is not the afc of last yr nor 2 years ago. The teams and qbs are a lot better. Also if just making the playoffs is their goal then have it.

Well you have 2 start somewhere. If We make the playoffs....another team that everyone is afraid of doesn't. Can't get any farther if You don't make the playoffs. Ask the Browns, Ravens, Chargers, Colts, and a slew of others.

    That is not correct

The only factor in that regard is where they finish in the division at the end of regular season
