The thing is Wallace wasn't even our third string center we didn't really have one when Beachum went to LT. So he can play other positions and you know how our staff loves that.

No thanks. I have seen enough. There was no downgrade in centers abilities with either replacement.

Pouncey and Woodley can go off into the sunset imho

Wallace is a true Center..I am not sure he can be moved around like beachum.... Don't think he has the quickness to play guard or tackle...pretty much the reason why legs started at center last yr and pounce was moved to guard ...Legs has little versatility

you can dig up anything you want but I can see it with my own eyes. they had to help gilbert all year. trust me I know all about who the athletes are and where they play. gilbert is nowhere near as good as you think he is. nor is foster. if gilbert was such an athlete he would have been playing LT. he is incapable of that, because of his lack of athleticism. he's serviceable at best. much below what a 3rd year, 2nd round talent should be.

mac is one of the most knowledgeable guys on the MB when it comes to OL stuff. Maybe just me, but kinda came across a bit condescending.

All pro is a selection of the best players in the NFL at their respected positions selected by the AP. It is a vote regardless of AFC or NFC---there is a first and second team..therefor he was voted by the AP the first or second best center in the league 3 of his 3 years
    AP= Associated PRess

Pro-Bowl is a selection to the NFL all star game

I say be smart and trade Pouncey to Miami. They will pay up for him and he can ride the IR down there. Then we keep Velesco and Wallace. When Cody isn't backing up he can molest unsuspecting D-linemen Ha-ha.
    HOW DAT FEEL HUH?

I've watched every game and seen more misses by Pouncy than Velasco and Wallace, even if he is all pro, besides has he made a whole season yet without injuries and missed time. I'm with many others here time to trade him and Woodley.

Also Gilbert whiffs a couple of times each game even on Bells touchdown run he completely missed his man and Bell had to do the spin move on him.

Trades don't happen in the NFL..especially Woodley...no one will take a 30 yr old OLB with the contract he has..plus if we trade him we are on the hook for a 14 mil dollar cap hit...not happening ...

as far as pouncey goes...you dont trade 24 yr old all pro centers...besides you would never get fair return for him

I would be very surprised if he chooses not to be FA so he can join his brother in Miami. Heck, thought that was on the table for 2014. If not, the yeah, trade him now, though not sure that will happen unless he agrees to a LT contract.

Regarding the All Pro selection, I put no weight on AP media votes, nor should anyone else. They don't watch games, they vote on reputation as well.

The highest honor that the NFL players receive people shouldn't put much weight into? :lolol:

The highest honor is the HOF. After that, I'm sure if you asked any player, being chosen team captain and/or team MVP by his teammates is well above being recognized by some media azz halfway across the country.

Exactly. I am pretty sure the boys could give a rip about what AP thinks .. Its just something that keeps the media busy and we all know what they think of the Pro Bowl. Purely a popularity voting contest between fans which players could give a rats hinny about.

same can be said for pouncey. surgeries on both ankles and surgery on a knee now. those are pretty important joints for a lineman.
