Seriously he needs to lose a game for that. When the ref is backing up trying to get away from him and he is following him cussing at him that's WAY over the top.

its really not enough...what is to stop some guys from doing this in a blowout like hall did...he got ejected and whats a few grand to him..if they know they are going to play next week what do they care if they are ejected in the 4th quarter of a blowout game...he needs a suspension

Sorry, we'll just have to agree to disagree. If he made physical contact with the ref then yes, I think a suspension is warranted but not in this case.

If a high school athlete did that, they likely wouldn't play again the rest of the season. Not to mention they would likely get suspended from school. And... probably get taken out behind the woodshed when they got home.

We have higher expectations for our children than the NFL has for grown men who are millionaires. It is damned disgrace and Roger Goodell is a hypocrite.

Sadly woodsheds are becoming a thing of the past and Deangelo Hall's are becoming a thing of the present and FUTURE!

The issue is it's not his first time. He got a fine the last time and he spit on one.

Yeah 2 were the same, the other was 5 years, but it does show a pattern. He just hasn't been ejected for things since then. I found numerous articles about him blowing up on the field, but not getting penalized for it.

The flag throw was 2011 and he got 7.5k for it.

The 2007 was for 2 unsportsmanlike and going after his own bench! (Team did it not the NFL)
