Does anyone have the clip of Sanders taking Hall down that led to Hall's meltdown? It looked like some WWE stuff. Thank God we don't have a loose cannon like Hall on our squad!

Hall is a Piece of Sh*(t. Always has been. Always will be. It would have been funny if the ref had just clocked him in the jaw and dropped him while he was ranting away.

 

I dont know if I have ever seen a player get in a refs face and do a blatant F you like that...he will be lucky if he plays next week.

I don't think he did anything that warranted a suspension (unless an ejection is an automatic suspension) but you can bet your ass his wallet will be a little lighter.

 

Pulling his helmet off, drop the F bomb, daring the ref to throw the flag, and continuing to go after the ref doesnt deserve a suspension? He needs to be suspended and fine...heavily.

 

Ive never seen 2 penalties enforced on one play. What was the rule on that? We got 30 yards lol

I guess a foul on an official is just added on to the other accepted penalty

 

one flag was during the play and one was a dead ball foul.

 

He was ejected from the game and will without a doubt be fined. I think that is punishment enough.

 

Man Shanahan got an ear full from the refs today too. Did anyone else notice during the game that Shanahan was trying to talk to the ref about an offsetting penalty and the camera picked up the ref saying "GET BACK IN THE BOX! I'M TIRED OF THIS!!!" Shanahan just had a little uncomfortable smile on his face and did as he was told. But he got put in his place for sure and I loved it. Maybe that ref he was calling out was one that had to call a Harbaugh game and just couldn't stand the verbal assault anymore.

The League made it a point of reference with the replacement refs that this kind of thing was not to be tolerated. He sealed his fate with going after him and threatening him. This isn't his first time either.

I'm thinking he'll get at least a one game suspention and a fine. Getting an ejection with less than four minutes left in the game is hardly punishment enough. The official had to keep backing away from him, I'm sure at some point the official might have been in fear of getting attacked. If Goodell don't suspend him I'd bet Shannahan and the Redskins do.

Since I was there I don't know if the camera picked this up, but the ref did NOT back down. Several times he went right back at hall, but in a non-threatening manner. Actually, it was kind of funny.

 

Nope. Both flags were after the whistle. One for continuing to "mug" Sanders after the whistle and one for his lack of control when dealing with the ref.

When the second flag came in it was right as Ben was saying something to Morelli and I thought "No!" It almost looked like the second flag was on us.

 

What was he so upset about- does anyone know?
