    I always liked Watkins. I know he had injury concerns so the Bills would know better than I.

    If Watkins becomes the player he looked like as a rookie, the Bills will regret this.

    Granted they got Jordan Matthews, who I really like, and some picks, but if Watkins turns it around, big mistake.

    And he thought Tyrod Taylor was bad, wait till he see's Ram's QB. Bills are tired of Sammy's productivity.

    Who knows maybe a change of scenery will help Sammy out?

    I suspect the Bills, having already declined the 5th yr option on Watkins, figured that he likely leave anyway as FA next yr. So, you could lose him for nothing at the end of yr or you could get a 2nd rounder now. All you miss is whatever productivity he gives you in '17. And that's not likely to put you over the top.

    The new regime in Buffalo seems to be wiping clean the mistakes of the past regimes.

    I always liked Watkins too. But he is always hurt. And will never justify being the 3rd pick overall. I'd have kept him if I were Buffalo. But I can see why the didn't.
