Coats had five targets and no catches today. Only player in the NFL this season with at least five targets and no catches in a game.

Man , i hope Martavis can get it right and be on the field starting next year. Bryant is the best playmaker on the offense. Super dangerous in open space

Coats hasn't played well since he hurt his hand 3 or 4 games ago.. He has been just awful and at times looks like he dosen't want to catch the ball.

^^^ This. Deactivate him until he is 100%. Give Hamilton and Rogers some snaps.

Can't say I remember all of the passes thrown his way, but he seemed to be on the end of a lot of long routes. I think had he been given some medium routes in the middle of the field he might have had a few more. Heck, we may have even got a first down every so often.

That said... on first look, it seemed he needed to be better positioned and make better adjustments for the catch.

The worst was the drop in the end zone with about 5 minutes left that would've cut the score to 21-14. A few more drops and he's going to start bringing back bad memories of the last WR who wore #14 and couldn't catch.

When Sammie Coates was playing great we were 4-1. Since he has disappeared and played like crap we are 0-3.
Tells you how important he is to the offense.

The end zone drop would have been a great amazing catch. I'm pretty sure some of his other targets were either at his feet or 10 feet over his head. Not sure I'd use this last game to evaluate him. I'm pretty sure it took AB until the 4th quarter before showing up too.

I think that finger is still bothering him and has shaken his confidence.

What about the game before or the game before that one or the game before that one. I think he has missed a heck of lot more then he has caught since he was injured. I think he has only caught one or two since his injury.
