Sammy Coates sure does run them hero routes with some enthusiasm. He has to be averaging about 25 yards per catch.

It's nice to know that Ben seems to have him measured, they should be able to hit that toss with some regularity.

Pretty soon it isn't going to be a secret anymore and DB's are gonna quit biting like Rod Woodson.

Wouldn't it something if Coates got cut for droppin the dink passes, and Tomlin would say " we had to cut him, all he does is catch bombs". Kind of like Buddy Ryan did to Chris Carter.[ all he does is catch touchdowns].

Speaking of WR's, whats the deal with Hey Bey? Does he have trouble getting separation or what?

We need a slot guy that does a good Hines Ward imitation, don't we?

Jesse James sure isn't disappointing. All we need is a slot guy that's happy to be a possession receiver.

    p.s.

With Coates doing so good at the Z, why not try AB in the Y and put somebody else at the X?
AB seems to like going over the middle.

If they decide to take Coates deep route away that will open up someone else. It is a good problem to have.

Seems like AB and LB are playing that role these days. How often does 84 line up outside these days? I've not been paying close enough attention and don't have the ability to record the games.

I was getting irritated with Coates. I counted 4 drops that were good throws by Ben and catchable... but he did redeem himself. I'd have to give a B- grade for all the drops.

Or the 'Alvin Harper' route. It can open up some things.

Coates was imitating b.marshall yesterday... Both had some big drops but decent stats. Both could've had monster games.

DHB gets open...Him and Wheaton are just not looked at by Ben ...Ben looks to Coates if AB is doubled then to Bell and then the TE'S ..
