You should be expecting it by now. Ben almost always throws an int. or two every game. He is not shy about slinging the rock or forcing it deep down field.

Biggest key to the game, IMHO, is to cover every receiver on every play. Don't let them get wide open by 19 yards.

This team can play with and throttle anyone on the field.... If and when they want. Jekyll and Hyde for sure and have been for a while now. We shall see Go STEELERS!!!

He had no chance stopping that guy :lolol:

Why was he back there anyway? Protecting against a hail mary?

I feel we need to take advantage of the fast track in the dome. We need our offense to score score score, carry this team make the Saints one dimensional. We score 40 we win this game, after all we are an offensive powered team right?

On the defense one of the most important things to me is keeping Digger on the field. He has been very good every week, there is so much the stats don't show but if you go back and watch the last few games you will see the center getting pushed straight back. To guys like Brees and Brady that is big and gets their feet moving and out of rhythm. The other thing is keeping the pressure coming, Watt, Dupree and Hilton need to hit Brees. NO NO NO ZONE, this make the rush worthless. Deactivate Burns and worthless McCullers.

The choice is between Walton and McCullers. Walton does nothing. McCullers at least tends to push his man back, even if he can't actually beat the guy. That can help in collapsing the pocket. The value of a really tall guy inside against Brees isn't something to ignore, either.

I get your point. McCullers isn't good, but they are going to rotate five defensive linemen into the game and he's a better option than Walton.

He's done. Gronk should retire after this yr. He has just had too many injuries and hes nearing 30. His body is broken down. In football you wont last long having MULTIPLE back surgeries.

He's first ballot HOF already. He has nothing left to prove.

I agree. In his prime he was the most dominant TE in history. I would still probably take Sharpe but gronk was a beast.

Strongly disagree, look at McCullers snap counts like 3 a game they don't rotate all them guys. They rotate Digger, Tuitt and Heyward when they go to the "hybrid" defense. From what I am seeing for some reason they start early with McCullers and then he is gone, I am wondering if they want the other team to see the weakness then go there and we counter with Digger, IDK. I get your point on taller but I would rather see NO McCullers and more Digger who will push the center back at Brees while Big Dan just stands there. JMO

Coach definitely put Gronk in a position to lose lol. Yeah his height was suppose to destroy that hail mary that never happened

I can see Thomas having a big game like Allen did for LA. We can’t let him move the chains at ease as Brees will pick us off. Their other receivers may not look much on paper but they can still be efficient, given then chance.

Kamara out of the back field is a worry as McCaffrey had a big day against us playing a similar role and NO have a serious dual threat at RB, which the Panthers didn’t.

Have Vince blitz up the middle, he hasn't done it as much as he did last season.

We got "Hometowned Cooked" against the Los Angeles Chargers. That game was horrific. Worst of all, no reprocussions in the aftermath.

I just hope the officiating is, for the most part, decent. I do not even expect them to be good anymore. Offficiating overall has really never been great historically but for a period of time... it was good.

    Not anymore.

Quick fun fact, Gronk's Dad moved Gronk down to PGH area (Woodland Hills HS) his senior year from
his native Buffalo so he would be exposed to better football. Of course we know Gronke went on to ASU and the rest is history.

My apologies if the point wasn't clear. I don't mean that they give then anything close to equal snaps, but the Steelers do use all five defensive linemen every game.

I'm all for seeing more of Hargrave, but the Steelers aren't going to go with only four defensive linemen and McCullers is a better option than Walton, though neither is particularly good.

Gronk didnt play at ASU, he played at UA in Tucson. Where he only played his fresh and soph year because of a back injury..........

No problem man I didn't take it that way I just meant they are really not using a rotation since Big Dan is only seeing 3 snaps....which I feel is 3 too many lol. The rotation is happening with Cam, Tuitt and Digger which is fine I just would like to see these 3 on the field more. McCullers/Walton don't much matter don't want either especially with Alu Alu there too...........

Agree. I know a bunch on here are saying "pound the rock!" - but the reality is, this is going to be a shootout. Need Ben on his game.
