Ever think the 49ers might be playing in the postseason because they are good?

Then the game must be fixed.

 

So if the Saints come back and win it (and they're only down by 6 w/ 5min left in Q3) does that mean that the game wasn't fixed afterall? Or is still fixed, but just fixed in a way as to throw off guys like you (the ones who can see the conspiracy and might blow the lid of the scam) off the track? So that 'they' can continue to fix games in the future?

 

Wow... 2 offensive PI calls in the same series? Don't see that very often.

Scott, I have a serious question for you. Actually, three questions. The James Harrison roughing the passer against Denver -- if some random player on some random other team had done that exact same thing (watching the 49ers game I'll randomly say Aldon Smith, who plays the same position as Harrison), do you think the flag would have been thrown? I actually thought of you when it happened. I thought, "Even ScottChab has to acknowledge that that flag is not only BS, but might as well have James Harrison's name on it."

The follow up is, if your answer is no, it likely wouldn't have been thrown, then is it James Harrison's own fault for getting a BS call because he made his own bed and now has to sleep in it, and that means literally not contacting quarterbacks at all, even if within the rules of the game? That means literally playing by a different set of rules made just for him. The third question is, whether it's his fault or not, should this be how it works?

As you may have guessed, my answers are No, No, and No.

If I had to guess I would say that a flag wouldn't have been thrown on another player and I think Harrison's history is partially to blame for it being thrown. And believe me, I was one of the loudest ones screaming when it was thrown.

Whether or not this is how it should work (which I don't), unfortunately it is. Reputations can help or hurt and in this case, it hurts.
