Winter is here! I won't be doing much but watching football this weekend and staying warm.

 

You're quite fortunate Thorn that your Honey-Do list ONLY includes outdoor chores. You're doing something right. We just got about 4-5 inches of the white stuff on Tuesday here in California at the base of the Sierras. The prognosticators have been beating the drum for another "La Nina" year which means continued drought with very little precipitation. Again they are scrambling for credibility because they don't know how this could possibly happen.

Yeah it's getting cooler here also....only highs of 83 today. I might have to put a shirt on. LoL

 

It was funny the first big blizzard of the season was predicted and they canceled school but it ended up not hitting until late afternoon. It's such a normal part of life around here I'm never sure why ppl freak out when it starts.

 

Thankfully I am prepared for the start of winter with everything being put away. Just need to get the snowblower a quick tune up and it's go time.

 

Mercifully few games broadcast in Atlanta this year. Listening to them is bad enough.

 

I talked way too quickly, and now We have a bit of a cold front coming in.

I got you beat. I went all in hillbilly and left my Christmas lights up all summer long on my biggest Pine tree. It was too much to take down and put back up at my age. Nobody even noticed. I doubt they're ever coming down now.
