    Sorry to see his football career end in such a way but happy he is prioritizing his health over chasing that dream. Shazier might be just the guy to reach out to him.

    Got to be a tough pill to swallow for a young athlete. His career is over before it really began. I agree with Thorn, good that he’s putting his health first. Good luck to him.

    Wasn’t he injured against the Lions very near to the last play of the game?

    Yes in Pre-season last year. Stinks for him. Seems like the Steelers have this happen to them often, especially when it comes to drafting players for the Secondary.

    That’d right, may have been a kneel down. Tough way to have a career ending injury.

    i figured this was coming. i mentioned awhile back that this is a bad injury especially for a safety. i wish him luck. he was playing well and would have been a good addition. such a shame.:cool:

    Damn, he showed some promise prior to the injury. I was hoping they had found a late round gem. Best of luck to Mr watts in his future endeavors

    That sucks, but I'm glad he is walking away while he can still walk.
