Ryan Shazier

My friends who are hardcore Ohio State fans said when we drafted RS they didn't understand it at all. They said they never really thought he was that good. I hope their wrong.

 

A good safety like Shamarko Thomas

 

Shazier bulked up last offseason working out with James Harrison, he can't get off blocks playing ILB he has no chance of being a OLB.

 

He will probably add another 10 pounds this off season. Timmons was just about the same build when he showed up and now he looks like a fricking brick house.

 

I think it can be a good idea considering how fragile he is as a middle linebacker. But we need to give him some more time as a middle linebacker before we give up on him...

 

i think they were fooled by his speed and didn't look at the whole picture on him. he had a good game in college but at corner against the USC wr that went 1st round. he shut him down. woods was his name i think. shark had speed but the brain part didn't translate well. he has made some ST's plays but thats not what we need at this point. we need a ball hawking, sure tackling safety to start.

 

I watched a workout video of Timmons once and I almost passed out from exhaustion.
