I know we all want to lay a lot of blame on Ike Taylor for our loss to Denver last year, but personally, I put a lot of the blame on Ryan Mundy as well. I believe if Clark had played, we would have won. Mundy was regularly out of position mostly because he kept biting on run fakes. If you can stomach it, watch the last play of last years game. Mundy ran to the line of scrimmage and left Ike with no support. A safety should never do that. This is what got Anthony Smith cut a few years ago.

That was by design...the Steelers had no fear of Tebow throwing...and were focusing completely on the run.....Won't be the same against Peyton

As I agree with you, check out on steelers.com and listen to Lebeau speak to reporters. They ask him about last year's game and he admitted (finally) that he made the wrong call on that play.

Also the replay is on NFL Network. I can't stomach to watch again.

It might of been by design, but after getting torched for 10 completion for 300 or so yards, you might of made a few adjustments before the infamous overtime throw. I think i would of had some fear by then.

Well that's on DL, Mundy just goes where he is told to. He's not going to say, fu old man, I'm playing the pass on this one.

I think the whole defense needs to play better Sunday. ( How about Woodley,Kiesel, Troy)these are supposed
IMPACT PLAYERS and are PAID HANSOMELY for this, What about them? If the Steelers
OL can not block Denvers front seven, this could get nasty.

I think it's Ike that needs to play better, & I'm as big of an Ike fan/supporter as there is. He knows he didn't play well. The game plan was for him to shadow Thomas and he just had a very bad day.

Hopefully Ike doesn't see this (I don't need him tweeting about me like Stephen A. Smith).

That game was lost when Ike didn't make a tackle; he shouldn't have needed Mundy's "help" to put the receiver on the ground. But that's ancient history... let's go out and win tonights game!

Ryan Mundy is improving each year and apparently according to Dick and Tomlin he is looking better this year. He is actually doing a very good job and I expect big things from him this year. The Denver game he was to move up and cover the running lane as per Dick Lebeau so he was doing what he was told.

I predict Mundy will have a good game today and Ike will be on fire after comments from SAS and his obvious competitiveness not to repeat last years performance

i worry more about will allen not doing something stupid. mundy needs to have a good game in coverage and so does will allen. i'm not to certain we don't play cortez alot more as a nickle/safety. this would bring better speed in the d-backfield. we are not going to fool or confuse peyton, but that doesn't mean we can't confuse the receivers though.
