Any guesses on how Ryan Leaf would even know a stat like that? Does the guy sit around reminiscing about how bad he sucked.

Seeing who wrote this immediately stopped further time being wasted. Misery loves company and this pogue trying to pull someone down to his level and stay in the news sounds desperate. RL can go to hades for all I care. Note to KP: F this guy and keep working. JMO>

 

I have watched a few youtube videos where he has filled in for Rich Eisen and he comes across as a very good speaker and is brutally honest about where he went wrong in his career. He doesn't sugar coat his problems and talks about addiction and how it almost swallowed him up. No surprises that he would know something like this.

Leaf was just having some fun re-tweeting someone else who knew the stat. Some of you are taking this way too seriously.

I mean KP has not been good but most rookie QBs are not.

 

The article says that Leaf was the sole pick ahead of Peyton Manning. Not true! Manning was the first pick by the Colts and Leaf went number two to the Chargers.

 

I'm not sure it was meant to be literal. Leaf has made mention of the fact that many draftniks had him ranked higher than Manning and thought he would go first overall. That could be the reason for the error or misconception.

 

I like hot dogs with spicy mustard, kraut, relish and onions...

 

Doesn't seem very healthy that he is dissecting every minuscule detail of his career all the way down to knowing such a dumb stat so I am very surprised that he would know something like that. If he even gave half as much detail during his playing career he probably would not have been a bust.

 

Again, he retweeted someone else that brought up the stat.

 

I’ve seen those too and he does do a good job filling in. He’s a pretty compelling speaker.
