Jefferson is the better route runner, and he led the league in receiving yards last season, Pickens isn't on that level yet.

PP....needs to worry about covering the field first, and foremost, and then We can hear what He has to say.

Pickens can be a top 5-10 WR in the league one day but be better that Jefferson, very unlikely

I do agree that, in terms of raw talent and potential, Pickens does have Jefferson beat. However, Jefferson's skill and discipline make up the gap between the two in a very considerable way. Overall, Pickens will get better in time but Jefferson is the NFLs Best Wide Receiver at the moment.

No other Active WR can claim the amount of success he has had since his Rookie Season.

Why do fans say things like this :lolol:

Weird when they think they can tell players when and how to speak.

Imagine your response if someone tried to tell you that.

Anyway, he doesn’t have to wait, happy to hear his opinion on the matter.

Ryan Clark says this about 2 guys he’s never played with or against. Not saying he’s not welcome to his opinion, just that’s all it is, his opinion.

During the draft process I was very high on Pickens. I think he has the best body control for a WR since Swann. He moves like NBA athletes that seem to change direction in mid-air. I think the guy is amazing and I’m glad he’s a Steeler.

Jefferson is probably the most complete receiver in the NFL already, and he has gotten better every year. He moves all over the field and can do everything at an elite level. If you gave every GM in the league the opportunity to draft one WR I expect most of them would take Jefferson without a second thought.

Pickens has incredible talent and a knack for highlight reel catches but his all around game is nowhere near JJ’s. He is more of an X receiver and probably won’t ever draw the same number of targets as JJ unless he develops his game and route tree significantly. I think he has huge potential and I’m glad he is a Steeler, but it’s a very lofty comparison

Because I haven't seen Him do $hit in the Black, and Gold, but run His mouth like He's been here forever, and won something with us....., but I'm sure if He sucks some on Here will talk about how well he did elsewhere like Trubisky.
Now don't get Me wrong....I like PP, but Geeezzz man wait until you done something here before You act like You have. As for Me.....I could play in a band, or welding in a shop for 30 year, and do it well, but if I leave that band , and or shop, and go elsewhere.....they don't give 2 F**KS what I did before I got with them...until I show I'm of use to them. Might be different where You live....

Yeah, they were talking about talent
    1. A marked innate ability, as for artistic accomplishment.
    2. Natural endowment or ability of a superior quality.
    3. A person or group of people having such ability.

    https://www.si.com/extra-mustard/20...jefferson-steelers-vikings-opinion-comparison

One of former NFL defensive back Ryan Clark’s takes caused uproar among NFL fans on Wednesday after he said he thinks Steelers receiver George Pickens is “much more talented” than Vikings star Justin Jefferson.

“I mean, I could see it,” Peterson said, via Pittsburgh Post Gazette’s Christopher Carter. “[Pickens] is very, very raw. He’s very unpredictable when the ball is coming his way as far as his catch ability. ... But, Justin is a savant of the position. Like, he’s really, really in tuned and how to manipulate the defensive back, how to set his routes up. He’s going into year four, [Pickens] is going into Year 2, there’s still some things he wants to get better at. But, the talent? I’ll probably have to agree with Ryan on that.”“I mean, I could see it,” Peterson said, via Pittsburgh Post Gazette’s Christopher Carter. “[Pickens] is very, very raw. I get it. I got it when he said it. Why this has gotten so anal is beyond me.

Interesting what you said about body control. I never thought that way but you are right about Swann. He did twist and turn with the best of them.

You may know this my Steeler friend? A few years back the Vikings won a Playoff game (I think it was or maybe a game to make Playoffs) and they won on last play of game. Do you know if Jefferson was the receiver who won it????

Patrick Peterson has covered a few WRs in his career. He had to practice vs. Jefferson the past few years, and now has to practice vs. Pickens. If he says that he sees the talent, I’m accepting that at face value. The fact that he changed teams didn’t press the reset button on whether he can see the talent in the position that he has spent his career defending.

It was Diggs. Jefferson was in college.
