Ill give you this, you are a diehard fan of KFP. I honestly dont think the OC is or was KFP problem. Yes Canada sucked, but KFP wanted Canada back in 2023. Also no OC has messed up the basic mechanics that KFP shows. Just awful. I do hope he turns it around.

Comparing signing Wilson to signing Vick is way wrong on so many counts

 

I think people are going to be disappointed in Wilson. There’s a reason why Pete Caroll and Sean Peyton gave up on him, the later one after swallowing a chunk of dead money. Wilson’s critics in Denver were saying that he shied away from contact etc. AFC North isn’t a place for a small 5 ft 10 qb who isn’t as quick as he was when he was 22. Couple of good hits and hitting the frozen turf hard and Russell will be questioning his existence in the NFL.

 

I am definitely not against drafting another QB. It's just not a must now.

 

Vick is a terrible comparison.

I agree 2 years is way too quick to give up on a 1st round pick completely, but the whole OC thing can be said about every failed Qb. Almost every failed Qbs team goes through multiple OCs thing to find the one to make it happen. Before You say anything....yes Canada sucked....I said this long ago when Ben was still the Qb.

You’re probably right about that. I think his stock has risen since the Combine. If he happens to fall into the third, I’d consider him but not in the first two rounds.
