and the worst of ALL of those would start because we have Mike "Towelie" Tomlin as the coach.

Remember that time they had Boswell on the QB depth chart. Good times.

we don't pay that $39M, that is on DEN's books, heard some pundit go over all that over the weekend.

we just need to pay the vet minimum.

I have been a rabid fan of the Steelers for about 60 years, but I have zero interest in watching a Russell Wilson lead team.

This notion is to make up for sending Bubby Brister Denver's way where he obtained 2 SB rings. No other rational explanation.

I think this is 100% wrong. Only the Bonus money stays with Denver. His Salary money goes to his new team, unless the trade agreement has a clause on how much of that guaranteed salary the old team is willing to pick up.

Now, if Wilson is released by the Broncos, he can then sign for the Vet minimum contract.

Correct. If the $90 million is guaranteed in his contract, if Denver traded Wilson the other team eats the contract. If he’s released, whatever a team signs him for is subtracted from what Denver owes him, but Denver pays the rest.

There seem to be a few different interpretations of Wilson's contract and what the financial impact would be of acquiring him. Suffice it to say, it was one of the most questionable signings by Denver in recent memory and no team is going to take on that kind of financial liability for his services. I'm in on Wilson for a reasonable amount, maybe even 4-5 million for a year with some incentives. But top 5 QB money is a big hell no.

Wilson used to be a good scrambler, now you can tell he has lost some of his athleticism, he takes way more sacks these days.

Please for the love of god, someone tell me how to bet this line against the Steelers signing Wilson for even money. Actually because it is still negative -110 for the Steelers signing him, it should be for better than even money against the Steelers signing Wilson.

I am willing to empty one of my Bit-Coin accounts and bet the house that Russell Wilson is not coming to Pittsburgh.

I once suggested on a Pirate Message Board that they should use 9 pitchers a game every game. Guy just needs to throw everything he's got for one inning. Sadly the owner would get the 9 cheapest guys out there.

SLIPPED away? I’m surprised Jerry Jones didn’t publicly make him an honorary Cowboy and put his name in the ring of honor!
