Wilson is just another Trubisky at this point in his career.

It worked until it didn't. Ben took those knee shots (I still think they were targeted shots at his knees) and then it all crumbled. He wasn't able to move and get out of things so teams just took all the quick stuff away. I also still say that if that's golden boy Brady that season instead of Ben, there would have been a lot more PI and defensive holding calls down the stretch.

Somebody is going to get signed to the QB room. Cannot go into the season with 1 QB on the roster. There’s a list of names out there and nobody seems to want any of them. Who is the least revolting then?

I’ll never question Schlereth’s knowledge of football. It’s very possible that Wilson is washed, we’ve all wondered about it.

Everyone is convinced the Steelers are looking at Wilson as the starter, what if they are interested in him as a BU?

He’s not going to have a big market, he’s not the guy from Seattle.

As a BU, thats about the best you could ask for as a plan B to Pickett should he fail.

you should question most everything from these clown pundits. Especially Dulac!

you watch football - I say all of the time - WATCH THE GAMES.

    including the DONCOS 2023.

Watch this highlight reel, below (it's 20 mins long) He can throw the 15 and out. Kenny cannot.
We have a very good running game - DEN did not.
He can hit a WR on a DEEP BALL - Kenny rarely can.

    Watch the games.

    He is 35 yrs. old.

He can READ a defense. Kenny STILL cannot. Wilson stays in the pocket. Get ready for this one: HE SCORES TDs!! it's amazing!!!!

I could on for a day, he vs. Kenny and why he is a much better option.

(EDIT - i see the video is not allow to post, there are several on YOUTUBE that you can watch him PLAY and MAKE PLAYS last year) He can.....

seems to me we are going to try to fix the o-line and protect whomever the qb is. russell may not be bad in a smith type of system. same as kenny. seems to me we are going to try to build an offense where our qb's don't have to play hero ball. i don't think that is a bad way to go either. russell and kenny may thrive in that style of offense that smith may bring. let the run game do it's thing, let the wr's and TE's do their thing and let the qb's not make mistakes and have to always be the star of the show. protect them and move the chains.

I'll repeat Wilson threw for 26 TD'S, 8 picks and over 3,000 yards. If KP would have had those numbers last year everyone would have said what a great year he had and has proven to be our franchise QB. Yet somehow Wilson is a washed up bum who put up these numbers.

I’m talking about his knowledge and understanding of the game. Of course you can disagree with him, I do from time to time but Im not going to clown myself and say I know more about the game then he does.

Sound familiar? It should, we just fired a guy for running this offense.

Broncos are eating an enormous amount of money to get Wilson out of there, should tell you something. My interest in Wilson was more of a dart throw, your’s sound like you think he is still a bonafide starter.

I'd say Wilson, Pickett, plus a late round draft pick.

Wilson wasn't great last season with Denver, but he did throw 26 TDs and only 8 interceptions, I'm sure the Steelers wouldn't mind their starting QB putting up those type of stats.

Those numbers weren't good enough for Sean Payton though.

I think Dulac is correct this time, it seems Wilson is going to meet with the Steelers this weekend.

Look, I am a huge proponent of bringing in someone to be the starting QB ahead of Kenny... but Wilson certainly isn't the same player he was 3-4 years ago. I don't think there is much of an argument there. Now, is he still good enough to win games? Yeah, probably. Schlereth can call him garbage all he wants, but he was significantly better last year than Kenny was AND the fact that we are out looking at "garbage" to replace Kenny shows everyone what we think about Kenny's level of play the past two seasons (its been garbage).

I like Russ the player ALOT more than Russ the person, but he could potentially be a solid stop gap option for a year or two until we swing again at the QB of the future. He'd even likely be a good bit cheaper than Rudolph. Is it the right move? Who knows. It isn't a move that has a possibility of working out long term (like Mayfield, Fields, Rudolph to a lesser extent, and theoretically Pickett), but its probably one that makes us better in the short term.

yes - he is like a politician, changes his narrative every 3 weeks......

he said a month ago no way no how nothing - it was ALL KENNY ALL THE WAY, as QB1.

    baloney.
