I am in the Fields camp. And if Wilson is at 70 percent and immobile. I pray that Fields starts and I hope he is ready to go. I can't WAIT until Sunday

Do you remember what happened week 1&2 of 1989 season? Steelers rebound was impressive. I don't see that kind of resilience with this '24 team.

 

I would guarantee it. My only question is if Fields is completely prepped to start. Wilson would be my man if it were 10 years ago. Now let him be a semi-coach to the youngster. IMO.

 

Oh I agree the turnaround was incredible and I know how unlikely it was after the first 2 games and after the 1988 season....But for the playoffs, I was even more impressed by their loss to Denver, which was a very close loss....But that's just the oilers had a big collapse at the end of 1989 too and they had so many choke come playoffs time during their run and shoot era....All of that together can be true

 

Both these qbs are trash. We knew this when we got blue light special on both of them. Not rebuilding, more like destroying the Standard. Embarrassing

Yeah, we don't have best QB's at the moment but I think what most are saying is that Fields is a better option then Wilson. I think most agree that Wilson was a damn good NFL QB. Hell he was Pro Bowler all the damn time in prime. The key word is "was". I'm not high on Fields but I sure understand why a lot of fans want him in there. IMO Fields is not the future. He is only 25. He'll mature more. Will his skills get better??

 

Don't give up yet guy. Wait until we see how things go down Sunday.

Steelers should’ve drafted a qb to sit behind Russ. Fields has shown nothing in 3 yrs.

I respect your opinion, mine is just exact opposite. Been a long time Steeler fan and the last decade has been horrendous with no end in sight. I talk to fans from other teams and they notice this, but we have Steeler fans that cant notice this.

 

Im trying not to Steel, I honestly think the Buccos are going to turn it around before the Steelers do
