Let's hope not, but I wouldn't exactly be heartbroken if Fields ends up getting the start

Wilson was limited today, wow! The offense has been limited for 5 years, so my guess is it will now be 6 years. A healthy Wilson was already in decline, and now the Steelers are going to play with a compromised Wilson. :herewego!: Maybe.

Some are clamoring for the turnover prone gimmick. You might get your wish.

Aggravated that calf injury from pushing a sled. So, we have a fragile QB. Great. Still wondering why they had him pushing a sled, but non-contact injuries are always frustrating.

Well, if he could clean up some of those turnovers, he could be dangerous. I figured that Wilson wouldn't last very long before he's injured, but this is a little ahead of schedule

Playing against Fields would be a bigger challenge for the Falcons than against Wilson, especially because of his mobility.

Dan Orlovsky predicted this morning that Russell Wilson would only last one game as the starter before being replaced by Fields. It might happen even earlier.

Just start the Justin Field era. Get our ducks in a row for 2025 draft.

I hate to be "that guy".........

but if calf tightness keeps him out of the opening game, then I have to question whether his heart is in this.

At this point, why not? The Steelers can use the calf injury as a smokescreen. Give Fields a few weeks to show what he's got. If it doesn't work out, you can go back to Wilson once his calf has loosened up.

They'd have a better chance against the Ravens (the Chiefs, not so much). The Falcon's game is exactly the kind of games they lose
