Could it happen, sure. I can't remember back that far, but I recall one of the things included in his signing with us was a no trade clause. I may be wrong, but that would have to be the first step to clear, then the 'phins actually wanting to make that trade. While economical, he still has been injured since camp. Tannehill has been mentioned, knows the system and could be brought up to speed in a couple of weeks. They may have to do something, even if Tua decides he wants to wants to continue to play, but even if the deal was made, who or what in reality do you think we would get in return? You can find any number of scrap heap players on PS's all over the league.

That would be awesome but I don’t see anyway that Wilson could garner that kind of return value. Probably looking at a 5th rd pick. 4th maybe.

It's a wild rumor that has no basis in reality....
There's also talk about Tom Brady coming out of retirement to replace Tua as well... these rumors are nothing more than journalists stirring the pot in order to make conversation....
Besides, it it were true, we would be one Fields injury from being in the same boat miami is currently in

I said Brady as well because the situation had lots of positives. Young innovative coach, loads of talent on the team, location in Florida and ability to stab the Patriots twice this year. It's a fun speculation.

Been all over social media. Can you imagine him winning a Super Bowl with a 3rd team?

He should do it so we won't have to hear his dry @ss commentary.

Yes after one game Fields is the future

I was killing time the other day and watched the 30 in 30 episode on the Tuck Rule game. Several things really stood out as Woodson and Brady watched it, such as Woodson is still bitterly pissed off by it and Brady is embarrassed by his pathetic attempts to justify that it was a forward pass. The reason I bring this up is because at this point Brady's greatest attribute is that he sees the game at the level and knows just what to do to beat defenses. No doubt in my mind that he could step in for the dolphins and guide them deep in a playoff run.

Brady didn't look good in his last season with Tampa Bay, now he's two years older not happening.

With Tua's concussion history Miami should've never signed him to that contract extension.

I have an innate ability to tune those guys out but I like the insight guys like him and Romo have regarding the position.

Most likely not but indulge in the exercise for a moment which is the better path?

1.) Approach other teams in the league inquiring about trading for their backup QB knowing full well the bargaining power resides with that team. They can demand a top tier player such as Waddle or Hill and perhaps a draft pick.

2.) Approach a retired or currently unemployed QB to sign with the team with the understanding that they don't have to be the teams savior. Who tops the list?

Tom Brady has repeatedly given indicators that he thinks he could return to play. Heck I don't listen to most of Ben's stuff on podcasts but I'm sure he thinks he can still go. The available QB's out there is a whose who of draft busts, career backups, and tragically cut short due to injury. I'd be surprised if Tebow hasn't updated his contact info with his agent and Jimmy G is looking for a doctors note.

Havent heard him yet but I really like his analysis of plays while doing podcasts or whatever. You get a glimpse of why the guy was so good. His brain was basically a super computer when he was on the field.

What good would he do us. He wouldn't be seen, and thrown to, and then people would say.....why is our coaches not allowing the Qb to throw to him.

Just what we need....another target that won't be thrown to.....so people can say.....why won't they allow the Qb to throw to them. LoL

So winning games was all that matters. So Ben Roethlisberger should have won the MVP his 1st year when He went 15-1.
And we should have just kept K. Pickett.....because He won games???
You do Know that the Ravens won a few games last year that Lamar Jackson scored no points in.....not running, or passing???
Bottom line Lamar Jackson the so called MVP of the league last year, and Russell Wilson.....Had the exact same amount of TDs, and turnovers last year, and one was an MVP, and the other people want to trade away. LoL. Yeah makes lots of sense, but hell I'm arguing with people that actually think T. Edmunds is good
