roster moves

a couple of additions and subtractions.

the backup NT has one less player involved with the release of hunter. fangupo may have gone a long way in his quest on day one of pads. he took joe madsen and threw him like a rag doll. tomlin noticed. joe is a little over 6-3 and 310 lbs. not a little guy.

as for the players added, not a lot to see here. the cb from samford was active in college, but we have a lot of cb's right now.

the other an H-back type from minn. I know nothing about him. it says he caught a few passes last year. blocking wise, I got nothing. anyone seen him play?

 

The DB was from Furman not Samford...I've actually been on their campus...very nice place (have family that lives near there). While he has an uphill battle to make the team he could be a decent practice squad addition. And finally someone on the team who has the same last name as me!

that's pretty cool with the same last name. at least not named jones or smith. lol.

with db's going down left and right maybe not a bad way to go. king went down, DVD's been down with a hammy, hawthorne hasen't practiced much if at all. make Victorian look better but ya never know. we have a habit of finding hidden gems.

 

They also claimed CB Buddy Jackson (from Pitt) from waivers today, who was cut yesterday from the Chiefs.

 

Looks like LS Warren will be around another year since they cut the only other LS on the team to sign this Jackson guy...

 

Yeah, there goes my zany prediction that this was the year they were looking to move on from Warren.
