Rookie CB Cory Trice helped to cart

They should keep him and let him rehab, give him another chance to make the team next year, 6'3 CBs who can run a 4.4 aren't easy to find.

 

It costs peanuts to keep him and see where he is next year.

 

At least it happened so early that he might be ready by next season. It'll be like getting an extra draft pick in 2024, who's already been learning in the system for a year.

It sucks though.

 

It does. That is the optimistic way to look at it. My more pessimistic take is that they just can't put any trust in Trice. The injury history is just too extensive.

It's strange because I heard it reported that Tomlin said it was a non-contact injury, but I also saw a report saying multiple players went into his legs as he was going to the ground.

This stinks hard. I was really rooting for this kid. I wonder if it's just bad genetics or bad luck with certain players, like Spence and Daniel Sepulveda. I hope he can come back.
