Roman Wilson??

I honestly dont expect Roman Wilson to get any more than 10 snaps at most later on today. He has been absent from both Training Camp and has not stepped foot on an NFL Field yet. That said, why not see what he can do within those handful of snaps.


Judge the performance by those snaps and decide whether or not his snap count is increased week by week.

 

Apparently hes playing tomorrow so so much for that

 

Here's the news about Roman Wilson

 

My friends and I in a previous millennium jumped on trains almost daily in the summer

Spur line off of a junction so the trains only moved about the speed we could sprint

We would ride one for about a half mile to a strip mine to swim

Roman is much more athletic than we were he should be able to do this

 

He’s going to be active

I’m not sure that is going to equate to many snaps today

He’ll be the number 5 or possibly 4 receiver

Draft position is a bit of push for him

Hopefully he starts taking the snaps Austin is wasting

 

Fans have been asking the question for longer than just this past week. Lol! Why is it taking so long. That was Smith's answer to it.

 

The whole time I figured the organization ran out of jerseys with Wilson on it.
You know, planning and all.

 

It's not as if we're running a complicated offensive passing scheme. I can't believe the kid is incapable of running a basic route. we can't suck offensively any more than we do now.

 

It apparently had more to football shape conditioning from the time off

They watched him every day so they know where he is in that regard

 

Was Roman roaming the field at all today or just a sideline spectator

 

He was in the game at least once because I wondered who #10 was.

 

According to Steelers Depot via PFF, Roman Wilson logged only 5 snaps total. Cannot say I am surprised. Hopefully he made the most of each.


Hope to see him more as the season rolls along.

 

I never got a whopping as bad as the one I got when My folks seen me jumping off a train one time. Oh Geez. If I hadn't stumbled they would never have caught me. LoL

 

Based on those 5 snaps he might actually work his way into the game plan

 

Hopefully that snap count can be increased to double digits!


Time will tell!

 

I’m just pulling this out of my gray cells but…

Quarterbacks like to throw to receivers they are familiar with

Wilson.3 has been catching second team passes from Wilson.1 for a while now

Maybe Wilson.1 will be more inclined to throw to Wilson.3 Sunday night

HOPEFUL that Wilson is getting stronger each week. He is young and SHOULD be able to heal by now.

HOPE that he and Russ and Arthur and the rest of the offense are cooking up some new looks. the same old same old won't work on Sunday night.

Jets will stack that box hard. They will test Russ or Fields with a ton of pressure at the LOS.

 

Healing is not the issue conditioning and game ready conditioning are

many young WR's have had successful Yr 1 campaigns. HE NEEDS TO PLAY. throw him the ball

 

2nd rounder wasn't it? the corner that never played. i don't think he ever played a snap in the nfl.
