How can any fan not wish a Steeler Player does well ?

 

They're practicing quick slants. Anybody feel it's a waste of time to practice routes that they haven't thrown since Ben left? It's truly as if they are organizationally adverse
to throwing the easiest and quickest routes, even when their OL can't hold up.

 

Those routes aren't a big part of Wilson's game, but they should be. They are also a good way to let Pickens and Austin make some big plays, to get them the ball on the move. The Ravens talked about Wilson only throwing short passes and deep ones. The Steelers damn well better be working to fix that issue during this mini-bye.

So, what the hell is Labriola talking about he wasn't practicing hard until the steelers opened the 21 day window???

I think you are trying to hard to read something into this that isn’t there.

He came off IR and worked hard. He was just so far behind that he didn’t know what he was doing.

It’s just that simple.

 

He should have a year added to his rookie contract......lol

 

No, once a team declares a player eligible to return from IR it opens a 21-day window for them to be reinstated to the active roster. If they aren't, they are declared out for the season.
