    I think it's also kind of worth noting that Favre led the Vikings to a 12-4 record and NFC championship game in 2009, after throwing for 33 TDs and 7 ints. Easily the best ratio of his career, and great by any reasonable standard. Fortunately for the Packers, Rodgers turned into a star. If we let Ben go, we will probably see him light things up and win with his new team. If that happens, I sure as hell hope that our front office figures out how to evaluate college QBs in a hurry, because their recent track record in that area is suspect at best.

    They won't be using a high draft pick on a QB, they need to focus on building a better defense.

    Fewer sacks are directly attributable to a Todd Haley's offensive philosophy, which will probably prolong Ben's career.

    When Ben retires, as a career-long Steeler, I might add, he will finish in the top ten all time in passing yards, TD's and passer rating. The Rooneys know that you can count on one hand the number of QBs that come along each decade that can play at Ben's level. You just don't stop drinking from that well until it is dry. Everyone who talks about his inconsistency just isn't looking at the facts. His stat sheet is one of the most consistent in the business and his QB rating is in the top ten all-time. The Rooneys are going to pay him huge money to keep him in Pittsburgh, so if that is going to make you nutso then start therapy now because it is coming.

    I was taking "more" as in if he gets sacked once tomorrow, that is one "more"? And each one is wear and tear.
