So he’s good for 1.5 wins? Because Tomlin can cliché us to 8.5.

Do I realize that we’ve been overpaying for a quarterback whose best years are behind him? Yes. We’ve been doing that for 3-4 seasons now.

Lets hope the Rooney's cut some of this dead weight and find ball players that want to play.

None of them are overpaying a qb whose best years are behind him. They’ve all got qb’s on rookie contracts.

you´re right. Good point. what I actually wanted to say is, that there is no scripted master plan for rebuilding a team. There a so many franchise which struggled or still struggles over many years for rebuilding their teams. And some of them never get it done. Just spend draft capital on OL/DL and DB. Build the trenches. Tank a season to get the best QB in Draft Class and then install a DC/OC from patriots as your next HC. Its theory and it sounds a bit too easy for me.

Every team has to find their own way. So why not rebuild on the fly with a top tier vet QB. Even if Rodgers is not in his prime anymore i think he still has 2 or 3 more very good season left in his tank. IMO we wouldnt overpay him like we did with body shredded Ben. ARod just clinched the no. 1 seed in the NFC with a bad defense as i heared here on board. not so bad.

A bad defense? 11th in yds allowed, 8th in points allowed? That bad defense?

His bad Defense are just excuses for Rodgers lovers. Yet I believe someone suggested we Hire their Defensive coach.
I think He's still a really good Qb, but if You spend that Money(I believe 33.5 million???) plus the Draft picks for Him. How do we fix the rest of the team?????

Not my words. But in another discussion thread their was a guy who telled me rodgers just have had a good defense once a time. It was at his sb run. Since them he doesnt made a sb run again due his bad defense he always had have. I dont think so

Rogers problem is he can't win the NFC championship. His qbr in NFC championship games is 78.0. That;s not the D's fault.

U are right. Maybe we can do a contract extension and shift some money into future. Also i think we have a huge cape space next season so they probably get it all together

Edit: the draft picks would hurt us. Thats right
