Any coaching staff that doesn't tailor a system to fit the abilities of the quarterback shouldn't be in the positions they are in.

To put it in the simplest terms, most people mature emotionally over time. That’s my over simplified take on what we’re seeing with Rodgers.

Based on geography, I've spent more times talking about and considering Aaron Rodgers than is likely healthy.

It also might be a skewed take...but I think it is more of Rodgers finally accepting that he no longer can be Aaron Freaking Rodgers and is now a really smart QB that can not always physically achieve what his brain is seeing on the field.

Yeah, if he wants to keep playing, I dont see him uprooting and going to a new team and have to learn a whole new offense go through that whole experience with new teammates again.

    It’s here or retire, IMO.

The way the players, especially Howard, were congratulating Rodgers after the missed kick, something says this is it.

I saw one of the talking heads mention that Rodgers only comes back if Tomlin is back.
What's Arthur Smith's contract status, though? Would Rodgers want to go through learning a new system with a new OC? Would he want to handpick the OC as a condition of returning?

That makes sense and I would agree with you but I’ve read rumblings that the Vikings are interested.
ARod signing with the Vikings would give us a 7th round comp pick.

Nothing quite like a nice 7th round pick.

I don't recall Rodgers acting like this with Mike McCarthy

LoL. Yet he is the real average HC . Since Rodgers has left he has one season above 9 wins, and has been the 7th seed every year. So if they didn't change the playoff format, LaFleur wouldn't have made the playoffs since Rodgers left.

More talented, but not sure about "much". New LG (and wouldn't be angry if they replace the RG too), new WR, or two. Resigning Gainwell isn't a given. I expect he might see a double digit $M offer for his services.

At 42 years old does he want to start over with a new team; he seems to really likes his teammates and his coaches McCormick has been playing well.
