Why not cut Robert Woods instead of Roc he hasn't done anything?

 

How can you cut a guy named "Roc?!" That's pure football.

I could see them bringing in a vet like Gabe, so in that case somebody in the WR room has to draw the short straw.
This move does surprise me though. I didn't really expect them to make WR changes until after the 53-man. I'm fairly sure a worthy WR will be in a tough spot.

At the risk of ticking off anyone pulling for camp heroes to make the team I find the collection of lower teir receivers on the team underwhelming.

 

might be one of those wait and see things. If no one tries to sign him today, I'd look for a cut and resign it the next few and then more than likely a PS after the final cuts. In fact I'd would have cut that 5th string QB they signed last week since he wont be needed beyond this last game. Rodgers will get a series, Mason probably until just before half and Thompson the rest of the game.

 

Just a thought but why don’t “YOU PEOPLE” just realize I know what I’m talking about and agree with me

 

if he clear the waivers can be signed on the p.s.

 

Maybe Brandon Johnson expedited his release, I still think he gets through waivers and Roc Taylor land on the practice squad

I’m surprised they released Taylor. I thought he had played fairly well and the camp reports had him showing up quite a bit. With all the guys to choose from, it’s seems odd he’d be shown the door.

 

Might be the two big passes he didn't catch in the last preseason game. I thought he lost one in the air, and the other I don't think he tried hard enough for someone trying to make a NFL team.

 

Who were the other 3??? Hopefully not Max.

Taylor's effort on a couple of passes thrown his way is questionable, if you want to make the team lay out in an attempt to make those catches.
